Description

I tend to try out a lot of different checkpoints, each with their own strengths and weaknesses. I realized though that I needed a better way to try a workflow for the things I like to check. This workflow is the result.

Release 2.0 - March 10, 2024

  • Added four fixed prompts for testing

  • Added iteration that will generate the aforementioned prompts in one pass

  • Added an image grid assembly function to create image grids from checkpoint subfolders

  • Expanded the naming group to accommodate the added functionality.

  • Created a full instruction manual available as a resource to download.

Be sure to download the full .pdf manual for full details of operation.

Version 1.0

The workflow hold four randomizing prompt:

1. Photographic portraits of people with differing lighting effects.

2. Landscape art in several different art styles

3. Cityscapes in different time periods with different times of day and atmospheres

4. Fantasy art characters

Additionally, you can switch to a user entered prompt for your own specific needs.

Another piece of this workflow is that I included three nodes that add details to the results. Each of these nodes has a switch attached that allow you to bypass the effects for comparisons. This is most effective with a user entered prompt and a fixed seed so you can make detailed comparisons of the effects the nodes have on your results.

When making a lot of comparisons, it's useful to have the images sorted based on the checkpoint selected. With this in mind, the workflow will create subfolders with the names of the checkpoints you are testing and store your resulting images under the checkpoint name.
