The image refinement process I use involves a creative upscaler that works through multiple passes to enhance and enlarge the quality of images. This method is particularly effective for increasing the resolution of images while preserving the integrity and aesthetics of the original composition.
Process Steps:
Initial Pass: The original image is processed for the first time, where an initial upscaling algorithm increases the basic resolution. At this stage, imperfections may still be present, but the foundation for refinement is established.
Application of ControlNet: To ensure that the composition and main elements of the image remain consistent during the upscaling process, I use ControlNet technology. This tool allows the model to maintain the basic structure and essential details of the image, preventing unwanted distortions.
Use of Loras for Creativity: In some passes, I integrate Loras (style modification technology) to introduce creative and artistic elements into the image. This adds a touch of originality, potentially altering the style, colors, and textures slightly but without compromising the integrity of the original image.
Successive Passes (8 to 10 Passes): The refinement process continues with multiple passes, where the image is repeatedly rendered and enlarged. In each pass, the upscaler adjusts and enhances details, improves sharpness, and smooths out any artifacts that may have arisen in previous stages.
Finalization and Final Adjustments: After 8 to 10 passes, the image reaches the desired level of refinement. In this final stage, additional adjustments can be made to ensure that all details are sharp and the composition is harmonious.
Advantages of the Process:
High Quality: The use of multiple passes allows for progressive improvement of the image, resulting in high quality and sharpness.
Compositional Fidelity: With the use of ControlNet, the original composition is preserved, avoiding unwanted distortions.
Creative Flexibility: Loras add a creative element, allowing customization of the image's style and details.
This method not only increases the resolution of an image but also artistically enriches it, providing visually stunning results.
